Beat Car and Driver official SS1LE time by over 2 seconds.

I went out to the yearly lightning lap event today with Kaizen to drive the VIR grand course where they do the official lightning laps for their magazine. Using OEM Wheels and tires I was able to go over 2 seconds faster than their official time. It was hot so not ideal for laptimes. Not a 1:1 comparison obviously but worth noting that our cars can easily go faster than their official time of 2:54.8.

My car has more camber than they were running for their official time but to their advantage they run in cooler temperatures.

Nice!!!

You can go under 2:50 no problem imo.

edit - The gearing in these cars is a pain. With the 18s, another 400rpms would be amazing and 4-5 gap is rough. The stock tires the gearing seemed better, but is just slightly too tall off a few slow corners and if you needed 5th it would literally slow down after the shift.

First, I wanna say I’ve watched all your videos. You are an awesome driver and have balls of steel when you do those hill climbs.

Thank you for providing a video of the VIR grand course in stock configuration. I always felt like the 1le had more in it but whoever drove it that day just sucked.

Thanks, Hill Climbs are something else. It's time attack on steroids, I love it. I prefer it over regular time attack by far actually. Problem with time attack events at tracks is after the first morning session there is no more time to find. Weather gets hot and track gets slow. With a hill climb you always find time up the mountain throughout the whole day.

Nicely done Christian!

I'm as quick as you through turns 1, 2, 10 (almost), 11, and hog pen, but you are faster everywhere else.

Nice, If you use Aimsolo2 I'll send you all the data I have and you can see how to find the rest of the time in the other corners. Maybe you're going faster than me in some as well. Hard to tell without data though but I'm always open to sharing.
