One month update. Top has been up and down more times than I can count. Car has been driven through and parked during multiple heavy down pours. Top is still just as tight and absolutely no water issues anywhere. Man I love this car!

Great detailed pictures------which would make me say "Take it to the dealer." lol. There's no way I would do that repair myself. In fact, I brought my 2011 Camaro into the dealer last week for wet carpet issues. Car only has 4500 miles on it. I bought it with 3200 last Oct. Anyway, I'm covered under my original 90 day warranty since I made the dealership aware of the carpet issue several weeks after taking ownership. I had it put away for the winter in NY. They are putting in a new Water Management Bag, and I was just told that the 5th bow needs replacement as well, due to the fact that it must be bent and not sealing correctly. The best thing is that I'm fully covered by the dealer. Yahoooooo! And the funny thing is the dealer that I bought it from is a Ford Dealership. Not to worry, they had me take the car to a Chevy Dealership down the road that they have a relationship with. However, I have to believe that they are taking a bath on this deal since they sold the car used. Oh well. I'm looking forward to finally having these issues fixed.

Great writeup. I can't find anyone to do this repair for me for under $1200, so I am ordering parts now. I'm ordering the 5th bow assembly part #22936377. Is that all I will need?
Any specific rivets needed in the reassembly?

Do you know if the part number on the replacement bow was the same - 22936377? I seem to be having trouble ordering the right part.

you order a whole new 5th bow and have to remove the ends and replace them in the car. Good luck!

Maybe you can PM the original picture poster and ask him to e-mail you pics.

Photobucket has gone to crap.
