Political impact on the Camaro is omnipresent, is current reality, and is ignored at enthusiasts’ peril.

Fuel economy equipment is largely market-driven; both AFM, and to a lesser extent the skip-shift. With or without CAFE, etc, mpg is important to people when gas gets expensive. And prices of the vehicles are entirely economy and inflation driven...But enough of that......politics is not ignored by any people on this board, I'm sure. It's just not discussed here; and Camaro5 is a much better place for it, I can assure you.

But none of this is relevant, so lets please get back to the Blue SS. THANKS GM!!!!!!!!

Yes Imperial Blue Is the same color as my Current Chevy Silverado and that color rocks because at night it looks so good. The difference between day and night is literal with the Imperial blue. At night its a deeper blue that really shines. during the day its a great dark blue that lights up in the reflection of the sun. Sorry im getting goose bumps thinkn bout it

I now have made up my mind pretty much as to getting the Imperial Blue with NO STRIPES. It made me go from a 2LT to a 1SS.

Smile Imperial Blue

So has anybody been able to order a Imperial Blue SS yet? I tried 2 days ago, not available yet on order system. My dealer seems doubtful that it will show up anytime soon. Does anyone know an exact date when you can order blue or change your order? Thanks.

I haven't heard of an exact date but it's supposed to be towards the end of this month. Don't worry, placing your order now and changing it then won't affect your place in line.

extra weight's not what this car needs. it's already around 3800lbs. that's not light! the new challenger is heavier, but the mustang's almost 400lbs slimmer & that's not gonna help us in our climb to pony car conquest. sorry, but as of now, it ain't happening.

try again on November 14th... if it doesn't work then, try 10 days later... this isn't supposed to be available through the ordering system until around the 15th, from what I was told, so give it some time and then try again... I'm quite sure that I'll be the first in line at our dealership to change the order, so I'll post up here as soon as we've changed ours

ok first post in a few months so this might be slightly ignorant, but is the V6 going to be offered in blue?

and on the subject of the t-tops scott already said that it would take way too much weight to make this a t-top car... i'm guessing we'd be over the challenger in weight if we got the t-tops . they came around because people wanted a convertible like ride in the 2nd gen when the vert wasn't offered. Government crash standards are too high for these to have t-tops now... it is a thing of the past... sorry guys i wanted it as much as you did, but for the same reason we have a b-pillar we won't have t-tops.

The V6 was always offered in both blues; hence the "outrage" over it not being offered in the V8's.
