I saw a v6 at the Auto Show and it had a black cover, I like the look of the silver better.
I wonder if I could paint it myself if mine comes with the black.

on some cars, maybe. others it adds a nice look to the car.

like the pictures of the 2 yellow camaros in this thread, IMO it looks better with a painted cover.

No one should throw away their engine covers, I'm sure you could get a pretty penny from selling them on eBay. That's like throwing away gas money.

Yes it is a waste of money unless you are going to have the hood open at a show for some reason for extended periods of time.. I for one will be removing it so my engine can breath better...
