Not sure why anyone would pay big money to have the black ones? ( Unless of course you've ordered an all black car. )... when it's really all about colour!

Kind of disappointed that the V8 versions don't come with the black parts painted silver, but can't see this being too much of a problem later down the road either.

So,........ now where is the "Dove Tail" Spoiler???

I love the look of the black engine cover. It looks to have CGM in the non black area of the engine cover. That will look great with my black 2SS/RS with CGM rally stripes!

IMVHO - I'd be happier with the money spent on the covers to be added to something else. I'll be the first to admit that the tops of most engines don't look good at all, and covers like these to add some flare, but for me, that money is going toward making the car handle better and go faster

To each his own

Why covering the engine?

Seriously, I'd rather see my dirty engine than a cheap plastic cover

I am tossing mine too its ashamed to have that ls3 covered with some cheap plastic cover. Mast performance already sells wire relocators.

So where is the imperial blue metallic engine cover? That's crappy that they don't have one. Oh well. Where are you guys getting the pictures of your cars?I'd like to see what mine is going to look like too with the white hockey stripe package.

I've seen pictures of it with all flat plastic black. The silver looks nice.... if I'd seen that I probably wouldn't have ordered orange. I'd like to see more pictures of actual cars with painted and unpainted V6 engines.... especially orange if people could post them please.

The cover isn't just to make the engine super-beautiful. It's for sound deadening... You'll hear lots of unwanted noise if you take it off.
