Well, from your previous post up top, it sounds like you're already familiar with what we're all suggesting. And thus, it's making me think it might be another issue all together. Even if the battery is dead, the key should turn, and it definitely wouldn't lock the wheel. This is weird. I don't think it's an electric steering issue since the car isn't even on.
Is it an auto? If so depress the brake while turning the wheel and key.

Try a few things.
-Jerking the wheel with the power of Thor -Seeing if you can pull key out -See if you can lock/unlock your car -Spread peanutbutter and jelly on it then drive it between two slices of bread -call the dealer |

This is his wife! WooHoo! He is finishing the front splitter and his grandfather and I used our he-man strength and did it! Thanks guys for all your help. I have been following the posts as he has been working on his car! I appreciate it.

Love the reference to grandfather helping out.................picturing a aging and frail senior and a petite young bride doing what mr macho with a muscle car couldn't..................would make a great skit for SNL or Johnny Knoxvilles ............Bad Grandpa character. Glad alls well

Not trying to insult your intelligence in any way here but is the key pushed in all the way? Can not turn the key frontwards OR backwards? Maybe there is something inside the key like fuzz or dirt?

gotta turn the steering wheel- hard- to the same direction the front wheels are turned to. Not the opposite.
