I would think "normal" would be the turn signal way.

That dove tail looks good! From what I saw in the pix, it's not the GM dove tail, but an aftermarket, correct? Looks like FrankNBeans spoiler...and LOVE the stripes on there!

It turned out pretty good. Robert (SSE) has one and he said it will drain, I just rushed it a bit, but am not really worried too much since mine doesn't see much rain. I think alot of the spoiler look different depending on the color of the car and the way the stripes are done. I will tell you this it has plenty of clear on it and the stripes are definitely buried. I had to take off the SS emblems because of the new clear, the replacements from SLP are supposed to be here today and I will get the put back on, but it looks pretty good |

Well it is now 8:30 pm and I decided to quit for the night. After a call from Pete ( Big Thanks Pete) I finally realized where the wires went with the help of my friend Matt( A Real Big Help)
We have all the wires ran and just have to hook up the relays tomorrow and the mirrors will be done. Matt is also going to help me do the other LED's myself instead of paying the stereo shop. A LOT CHEAPER. the only thing is I won't have the extra rear speakers and rear bowtie panel but that can come later. Pictures will come tomorrow. |

OK the nightly update is on, of course it is around 8:30 again and I am quitting for the day. Had our last Little League game and team party so I got kind of a late start.
The mirrors are installed and are properly working, not as bad as originally thought but glad I had help from my buddy Matt, actually I was the gopher and he did the majority of the work, but the look great. Installed the engine bling that I got from Showstopper and stated wiring up the underhood LED's. This was more maticulous than anything, but I think it came out pretty good. I have some final wiring to do tomorrow to run it inside the car, but tested everything before I quit for today. |

It looks like a big jack-o-lantern at Halloween. (I mean that in the very most complimentary way possible.)

The pictures actually make it brighter than it really is. It kind of has an evil little glow to it. When I did the radiator shroud and engine cover it looked out of place so I added a few more.

Finally got all the wiring finished up under the hood and installed the switch. Took it out for a Sunday Drive before I start cleaning for the Fbodygathering.
Still a few things left I want to do but will have to see if that is possible before next weekend, if not I have all summer long to tinker with it, but at least I have it back. Last edited by Dr Jkel; 05-22-2011 at 02:56 PM. |
