What is this valor and honor badges? Is it a military thing? Cause I spent 1 year in Afghanistan (returned 1 Jun 2010) and I am still in the military. Can someone send me a link to it so I can get the low down on it? I would appreciate it.

The Honor and Valor badges were an idea that GM came up with to sell a certain number of vehicle to the milkitary in appreciation and it came with this badge.

Well SO MANY people wanted the badge that GM authorized a private vendor to make them. Anyone can buy these emblems.

I am a former Marine so I wanted one, but I bought six. I gave them to my friends who I know have been in the Military and who drive GM vehicles. I thought it was kinda cool myself, so Norm being retired from the military I gave him one at the Fbodygathering.

I got it right away, but I remember the whole build up to that avatar. hahaha

John, there was a point that I was deployed more than I had lived in our (new then) house. Love that badge!

Oh, I got my blue lights in the fenders (very sharp!) and dual scanners under the front fascia. mounted to the back of the bumper so it shines and dances on the radiator. Neat, gimmicky stuff

Dude you are quite welcome for the badge, just glad I could give it to you. I too remember those days of being deployed on foreign soil not knowing when and IF we were coming home.
