Camaro in another Movie??
Paraphrased from Autoblog
First of all these movies are horrible... but still All Rumors: Because the first three were such highly regarded cinematic art, The Fast and The Furious franchise may expand to a fourth "waste of film". The conjecture machine has characters from the first three movies coming together for another installment of vehicular hijinks. This time, the action will be set in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Cars will be a mix of old and new, such as a return to the 1970 Dodge Charger used in the original movie, as well as a new Camaro, a South-American Chevrolet Opala, and a Buick GNX may even make an appearance. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/08/27/r...ie-on-the-way/ |

I liked all of the Fast & The Furious movies. I liked the first two better than the last one, but I thought Tokyo drift had some pretty cool scenes in it. I loved the blue Yenko in 2Fast2Furious...
Wow I hope that is true, now I'm getting pumped up!

I knew ive read this before. But i dont remember the camaro being mentioned. So looked around a found this from insideline:
As to the cars, expectations are that some familiar machinery — like a resurrected version of the blown 1970 Dodge Charger from the original film — will mix it up with such contemporary machinery as the new Dodge Challenger and classic South American muscle like the Chevrolet Opala. Also don't be surprised if Vin Diesel's character finds his way behind the wheel of a classic 1987 Buick GNX. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=122327 WHAT IF BOTH ARTICLES ARE RIGHT AND THEY RACE!!!!!!!

sounds interesting. I like all the F&F movies too. I don't expect them to be realistic, but it's a very ENTERTAINING movie, even if the acting is bad. The first one was definitely the best, but the rest were decent and worth my money for the ticket. It's like transformers, You don't go expecting to see a remake of the cartoon. It's not very close to the storyline, yet everyone went to see it. Even if it's only for the camaro, the movie was made to entertain you flat out.
I would like to see a muscle car type version of F&F and it looks like this could possibly be it. |

hmmm.
These two articles look pretty similar, can someone come up with a third claiming to have Vin riding around in Ford Mustang Giugiaro. haha. I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: For those ten seconds or less, I'm free. |

Woop Woop, Camaro will be kickin' the Challengers booty! haha
That would be totally awesome... They have covered all the major aspects of street racing (imports, classic muscle, etc.) It makes the most sense, seeing as how muscle/pony cars are making a comeback!

There entertaining, almost B movies in my book. It’ll be neat to see the Camaro in another movie… Still have not seen Tokyo Drift. Guess I’ll have to add that to the list…

Sounds good to me! Loved the movies (even though some could be very unbelievable) and would be happy to pay a few bucks to see the movie.

I suppose that since this is still in rumor stage...the Camaro should have come out by the time another fast and forgettable movie comes out?

I found a couple of articles, which pretty much all said the same thing. However, I did find this:
http://www.newhemitech.com/showthread.php?tid=224 Allegedly, the two cars, a Charger and a Mustang, are being re-built for the fourth FatF movie. |
