I am a woman and I got the stick in my 2ss/rs, I figured if I was going to get it I should go all the way and feel the power lol! I don't mind shifting gears, I have always had sticks-just feels right

Automatic...the wife is not one for manual and I rather enjoy the set and forget of an automatic. Also lets me drink my soda and drive...

Automatics aren't that bad when they have some power in front of them. True that boring underpowered cars suck much more with automatic transmissions, think 4 cylinder 'sports' cars. I prefer the manual trans for my Camaro, but to each his own.

Automatic here. Are there times I had a manual? yes (thats what paddle shifters are for) and 80% of the time I am glad I have an automatic.

I put about 2k miles a month on the camaro right now. I knew she was going to get a lot of miles and be in a lot of traffic. I never see myself in traffic thinking (I wish I had a manual)

Now when I buy my SUV I am looking for the camaro will not see nearly as many miles and I will probably wish I had a manual more often but it doesn't ruin the car for me.
I don't fall into the macho bs that real men drive manuals.

Driving an automatic makes me feel less manly. But then, so does driving a stick! Oh wait, I'm a chick. I don't have to feel manly or prove I'm not a quart low on testosterone. Guys always go "OH, it's a stick!" as if it is some huge revelation. Car chicks like sticks! If I had to do a lot of city driving, stop and go, I'd prefer an automatic but I don't. I just like driving a manual. As long as I have knees, I'll drive a stick.

NOT trying to be rude, but you tend to ask a lot of questions, many of which have been beaten to death.

But, since I'm here and giving you are hard time, I will answer the question.
I drive an auto. And of course not, I'm no less of a man when my auto V6 (the least manly car, supposedly) rips it down the street leaving others shocked at what just happened.
I would love a manual, but when She was ordered, I didn't know how to drive one, and I'm still not very good at it (only driven one 2 or 3 times around a block or so).

My 2012 that I daily drive is a manual but only because it was cheaper than the automatic. If I want to cruise or have fun, I hop in my '94 Camaro which is an automatic. With the proper torque converter in it, automatics can be very fun to drive.

Automatic for me. The quickest cars on the 1/4 have automatics (COPO with a glide).

Auto

Autos are no longer what they used to be. 9/10 they will be more consistent than it's manual counterpart because it's a computer and doesn't have human error

I'm fine with my L99, think it's plenty-o-fun and permagrin does ensue. I would have liked a manual but for the price I'm not going to complain, it wasn't a deal breaker

No. Doesn't make you less of a woman either.
