Convertible audio replacement project ....

After lots of hours thinking where to install which piece and even more hours of cutting, wiring, screwing i am very, very happy with my sound quality
Target was not to lose any trunk space by subboxes, amplifier boards, ......
It is possible to have around 1500 (true) Watts in the car totally hidden ....
Small things like proper wiring in trunk etc. still to be done ......
Pics of final installation on Sunday !

I am curious if you are happy with your tweeter placement. That thing is right in your ear!

Yessssss, it does
Took some time to adjust everything, now it really sounds like it should -> AWESOME, it took a lot of hours to install everything properly, but it was worth doing it
And believe me: You DO NOT need a sub enclosure, when selecting the right woofer. It even pushes hard in your back when the top is open ......

Did you install any fans for the amps? You've insulated the well, and then covered them. Seems like they'd get really really toasty on any drive over 15 minutes.

How did you measure the height of the amp mount so that the "floorboard" sat flat on top? I thought about putting my amps under the floor but decided it added to much time and just created an amp rack across the passenger side wall. I also then didn't have to worry about heat (even thought I've got quite a few fans I can put in if needed.)

So far no fans installed, hoping that enough heat escapes throught the wholes i drilled in the spare tire cover, let's see......
I was using the battery clamp as height reference and tried out if it fits. Of course some parts of the spare tire cover had to be removed... My amps are too big for an amp rack on either drivers or passengers side due to the space the top needs when folded down.
