As a side note, that may be of interest to others reading this thread, I checked the printed invoice I got from the dealer last week, the R6P shows up on it as "R6P EARLY ORDER ACTIVITY 0.00", this is within the "Model & Factory Options" section. I just checked the window sticker linked-to from the camaro.spasticsquirrel.com website, and the option isn't listed on there.

What I am puzzled by is the order number... which, for me, is NDKGDD/SRE. What's the SRE part mean? I knew the NDKGDD since I placed my order... but the /SRE has me wondering... what could that little extra tidbit mean? Anyone have any idea?

UPDATE: I read a little more thoroughly and found that the R6P is mentioned on the window sticker being linked-to on the spasticsqirrel.com website... in the right hand column, about 3/4 of the way down.. "Early Order Activity Ending 3/15/09".

Got the call today from Hare Chevrolet in Noblesville, Indiana, and 2G1FT1EW8A9106913 a 2SSRS CGM roard to life. Great news today on my 40th B-day....though not quite as good as getting it.
Ordered 10/13...been a very very frequent visitor since, but first post. Thanks everyone for the great information. Much appreciated.

Got my VIN, my 2SS was born yesterday May 6. VIN 2G1FK1EJ0A9108145 destined for Houston. Can't get it to show up on the web page though, does it have to ship first?

did anyone else get the call from Chevrolet apologizing for the delay and saying they are sending a $100 service voucher? I guess the positive battery cable needs to be replaced.....I just wish they would send the car and I can put the dang cable on myself

still waiting for #00402...........

mine is built just got call from dealer vin# 8522 mine went from 3400 to in transit
i will post full vin later iam on the was to dealer to get wrokbench print out i have been saving them for my folder
