heinz made me aware of an issue in some of the entries in the database in regards to some of the serial numbers being innacurate. The VIN is accurate but the serial number is not.

I implemented multi-threading to speed up the performance of the scan. The serial number is how the application keeps track of what it's scanned and what it hasn't. What was happening is that the serial number was getting incremented before the thread actually placed the entry in the database. I've fixed the issue going forward but some of the ones found in the last couple weeks may not have the correct "serial number".

Does the scan always start at the beginning (VIN 1), or after the last one from the previous scan? My window sticker (VIN 8185) has been available on the GM site for about a week, but still doesn't show up in the database. Just curious.

Only your dealer can do that.

Looks like it is updating as good as it ever has. Man you really rock for doing this. I check this every day religiously.

That's the thing... I haven't figured out a good way to do it yet. I'm hesitant to just scan 1-10000 because that's a lot of traffic/hits. I don't want to piss off GM more than I have to. Before when they were showing up as they were built it was easy to just scan the previous hundred and the next 400 (a total of 500 cars) but now it seems sporadic. Also since soo many cars were held in QC, they are showing up way out of order. So basically I still have my largely ineffective automated scan running daily but I'm also kicking off a complete manual scan every couple days.

And yours is there now (may have just been added).
