Thanks oilman, you are probably more aggravated than me. I know two people that ordered their Camaro's after me and both of them have their cars already. One was an orange 1SS w/ automatic that was ordered in mid March, the other was a black 2SS w/ 6speed similiar to mine but I got the RS package as well. He ordered his car in late February and he got his more than 2 weeks ago.

I'm even more aggravated because the dealer seems to be keeping my order status a secret and won't even tell me what Event Code it's at so I have no idea when it will be coming in. I don't even know if the order has been accepted and the car is scheduled to be built.

How can people that ordered their cars in March and April get them before you get yours that was ordered in October or mine that was ordered in January??

Pick 10 threads on this forum. At LEAST one of them will be complaining about this. It's just the way the allocation system works. Please relax for a few days and keep reading. You'll learn a lot just by reading the various threads.

Oh and your dealer should not be hiding the information. Go in there and demand (NICELY) that he give it to you. If he refuses, talk to the management. If they refuse, get your money back and go elsewhere.

So my car popped up on the sticker site this morning!

FYI, for UCF_w00t, as of last update my car was 4106 status code (whatever that means)...I'll see if my dealer calls me this week with a status update to see if the window stickers are popping combined with some event (I know that it used to be exit QC, or that was the theory, but I was at 4000 for a while before this)

Great news. I was able to pull up my sticker just this morning. All options seem to be correct. The dealer says my baby is on a train and due to get on a truck within days.

Mine got unloaded off the train last night. Dealer siad Thursday or Friday delivery. I will NOT sleep until she's delivered.

Only dealers have access to the build status of your car on the GM website. Once the car is in transit, then they can track it via the carriers website. They don't share their logins and they are not available to the public.

As mentioned above, politely ask your dealer for status. I usually get updates about once a week once mine went into production. Now mine is finished and out to have the stripes installed. So, there won't be any updates until it gets back from the trim shop who is installing the stripes and gets put on a train/truck.

Right now I am at 7.5 weeks from when my dealer got my allocation. Good news for me was that I got moved from 11th of 17 allocations to 7th of 17 allocations since some folks fell off the waiting list. My pre-order was during the first week of ordering back in October of 2008.
