Good thing I'll have 3 whole days where I have nothing to do haha. Figure I start on day one and hope I don't need to go into day 3.

Haha with all the trouble I've had installing other parts I wouldn't be surprised.

Yep, documented and witnessed by a fellow v6'er here.

Funny yes but I have a hard time laughing.

60' times were nearly the same on both occasions. Results, no difference.

I was running with my Goodyear Eagle F1's on all 4 corners and my best was 13.7 something with both the IPF & the stock settings.

Compare that to my 13.6 with the Goodyears and less mods (sans ported IM & Isolator) and my 5 runs at a flat 13.5 with slicks and skinnies all with the Hypertech easy, no hype, canned tune.

Can't speak for Trifecta since I never had it but my best consistent runs were with the lowly Hypertech.

Hey GTO!

Yes I remember you telling me about your results before....a bit dissapointing really, as I'm still hoping to try out the IPF tune.

Would be awsome if you could now try the Hypertech tune again lol. Would that be a pain in the rear? Temperatures are climbing too, so that doesn't help at all.

I'm also wondering about your ported intake since you didn't have it on when you were running your best times. Are your heads matched to the ported IM, or not? Mine are not, and I have to say...although some people love their ported IM....I've never felt like mine did anything for me. If it did...I couldn't feel it, but then again the inlets on my heads are not matched to the IM so there is a bit of an edge there for the air to pass over.

I've always wondered if that is affecting my performance, of if it is not a big deal. From what I can recal, the ported IM was tested to show gains whether or not the heads were matched, and I didn't want to port the inlet on the heads so I left them alone.

...anyone have a stock IM they want to send me for testing?? lol

Maybe when I go back in the fall, just hope HDRS will lend me the Hypertech. lol

No, my IM is not port matched.

My drive train warranty is up in about 10 months and i'm spending way too much time on the C7 Vette boards. lol

Bigger concerns now though, got back from the Home Depot with some new items for the garage.

Woot got a call from the body shop and they said my car is done (sorta). They said the color match between my door and sides came out good without blending the sides. Unfortunately I got this call just as I got into work at 2:45 and I can't take a look before they close. Since they are closed on the weekend I have to wait till Monday to see how it looks :(. If all is good I'll have my car back Monday
