These sort of stories break my heart, and not at all because a camaro was involved either. What a sad sad thing to have happen. My sincere condolences to that young mans family. RIP.

Peace to him and the families affected.
Respect the car.

wow...from houston area as well....very very sad.

Crazzzzy things been going on around this town in few weeks!!! numerous police chases, one leading in a deadly shoot out. fatal crashes all over town. unbelievable. very very sad. people need to calm down and take a look at life and take a new appreciation on their own and everyone elses. sad what this world is coming to where everyday we see things like this.

Damn that sucks. My guess is the victim got a little power hungry though and loss control.

When I clicked on that link on my phone, I got the mobile version and missed the video.

Hitting that brick wall and it collapsing on the car was too much for the airbags to save him.

And, he only had it for 3 weeks......

None of the other news reports in Houston have any other information.

I'm tired of looking at all these wrecked 5th gens. Very sad that people can't just enjoy the cars without having to show how fast they are or trying some other stupid crap. TAKE IT TO THE TRACK...............

Paid the ultimate price for a few minutes of fun.

My understanding is it is some kind of electronic recorder that records speed and other things like on an airplane that can be accessed in the event of an accident. Not sure where it's located in the new Camaro.
