Another V6 manual at 3400!
Whoo-hoo! Just talked to my sales manager, and my car went to 3400 yesterday! He says GM does not move an order to that status until everything's ready, so hopefully those V6 manuals are on the move!
1100 - 2/18 (order #2 of 6 for my dealership) 2000 - 4/2 2500 - 4/8 3000 - 4/15 3100 - 5/14 3300 - 5/14 3400 - 5/19

I couldn't agree more... I can hardly wait for my car to come. I did look at a CTS-V today, and damn is that thing sweet!!! But I am holding out for the Camaro, will definetly be worth the wait!!! I was still at 3000 as of 5/20/09, still waiting.

This is quite a coincidence. I actually looked at one two days ago. Then I called them yesterday because I was actually going to cancel my Camaro order and buy the CTS-V but the CTS-V was sold. Now I don't know what to do. I still don't think my order has moved from 3000. I guess I need to make a trip to the dealer today and check since they don't seem to respond to emails.

Kind of an interesting cross shop V6 Camaro and massive V8 CTS-V. I am surprised you guys are ordering the V6 Camaro instead of an SS? Big difference in price too. Not that I see anything wrong with it though, the CTS-V is unreal. I've been cross shopping the G8 GT and the Camaro, but I really want an M6 Tranny and the G8 GXP is just overkill for me and who wants to pay the gas guzzler tax. Its also hard to wait when the other cars (G8, CTS-V) are on the dealer lots ready to be bought now. I plan on keeping my Trans Am, and I have a N* Caddy, so I figured the M6 V6 Camaro would be a great fuel efficient daily driver. I think you guys should hold out though for the Camaro, were gonna love em once they finally get here!

well, I was looking at a 2005 CTS-V with 36k miles for $24k. So it was less then the V6 Camaro, had more power, 4 doors, and most importantly, was sitting on the lot waiting for me to take it home. At least until it sold before I got there.

I gotcha, a used CTS-V makes sense. Did they fix the rear end issues for the 06-07 CTS-Vs?

Yeah, same for me used 2007 CTS-V with 24,000 miles for $26k... still waiting though, hanging in there.

Well, I just ran by my dealer for an update. Looks like I was lucky that CTS-V was sold.
My 1LT/RS M6 went from 3000 to 3300 on 5/14 and to 3400 today, 5/21. They said my car was "on the line" but my understanding is that it should be built in the next two weeks after going 3400. I need to look back at those posts since I didn't pay much attention to them at the time since I was so far off. Yay!!
