ALL U THAT ARE S/C'd????REDLINE???
Stock Tachometer Rev's to 6200 Redline, but when you are S/C'd where is your redline?
Whats the recommended shift when you are S/C'd? Does a aftermarket company make a replacement tachmeter showing a redline? Just curious...

We are shifting at 7k. But you prob don't want to go that high. Keep it low and be safe. The little extra in peak power isn't worth any damage.

Depends on Valvetrain/Cam combo actually, and Rod bolts...
Most Turbo's, Roots, Twin Screws, and especially Centrificals keep making power well past 6000 rpms, however most of my customers take it to 6200-6500. I don't like wrapping rpms close to 7,000 all the time, no need when your making a ton of power. |

On stock internal and stock valvetrain, don't go over 6000. You can, but your engine life will go down... Remember, the stock internal were designed for N/A and not boost. Keep it at civil level.

Mine holds power to the 6800 redline.. at track I try to shit as close to that as possible
on the street I shift at 6200 to 6500rpms.. Id like to rev higher to hold 3rd a lil longer but id rather be safe being it probably only gain hundreths of a sec at track..

Mine builds power right to 7000 rpm but we set the shift points at 6800 rpm.

One of mine was still making at 7200. Ran it there for a few runs until it lifted a head sucked water and cracked the block. Now we moved it back down to 7k with better gaskets....

The stock LS3 hits the rev limiter at 6600 rpm's not 6200. I have my shift light set to 6300 rpm's, but it revs so fast that by the time I react to it, it is around 6500-6600 before I actually shift.

Depends on the blower. A twin-screw or any other PD blower you will benefit from the low-end and won't necessarily have to rev it out to take advantage of the blower. With a centri, you want to rev a little more, but I wouldn't take it up to more than 6600-6700 for safety. . .
