Real weight if a 2010 SS with Driver (as raced)

I was not able to get the search function to work. Please don't flame me if the has a good thread that I couldn't locate.

What is a real "as raced" weight for a 2010 SS? We did a moderate amount of weight reduction and I was wanting to compare. We will have the final numbers in 3 weeks, but I am right around 3580# with my fat butt in the car.

I raced my 2010, with a full race seat, no additional interior, full 10 point cage, etc… 4100 lbs without me in it… I didn’t worry about the weight, I just added a lil boost… lol…

Seriously, yes I did a lot of weight reduction, however, I didn’t get behind the dash, I carried two big ole lead acid batteries, a dry sump with about 13 quarts circulating, four fuel pumps, two big ole turbos, and 3.5inch exhaust from front to rear… With the 10 point DOM tubing cage… she was a skoch on the hefty side… I still set a World Record pass in the Standing Mile for 5th Gens… Still enjoyed a smoke and XM radio on the drive back to the pits… about 5 minutes…

The Wki page says 3750 lbs

I scaled mine bone stock the day after I bought it with 1/2 tank of fuel and it was 3850 lbs

I always like to weigh my cars before I baseline them.

3,580lbs with driver is pretty good. My race-weight is 3900lbs. I am unfortunately 300 of that, so the car sits right at about 3600lbs. That's with all seats other than driver out, the trunk stuff out, and an exhaust that terminates right before the rear "axle", and a VMS/bias ply drag-pack. I would call that around 240lbs of weight reduction from stock - but it is offset by about 60lbs of added girth from the beefy 9" center section. All measurements taken with 1/3-1/2 tank of fuel, which is how I race the car.

I do want to find more weight to shed. A lightweight battery would be a nice, big chunk. Lightweight crashbars, removing the washer fluid tank, and some other little things and I might be able to scrape together another 100lbs of reduction. I'm pretty unwilling to compromise on creature comforts, so I think that my cars weightloss journey is fairly limited overall.

3780 w/o fuel was always the number I've worked with, and seemed to be reasonably close.

I agree on scaling stuff, gotta know where you stand, and where changes get you. I'm lucky to have a grain bin site just a couple miles down the road, and their scale is always on, so I just roll through in the evening and grab a weight.

That was without the driver add 275 lbs

There is a local scrap yard a couple of long haired bearded hillbillies run they always joke with me the car would be faster if if I lost weight(they are much larger than me)
