Exclamation What do you want to know?

This totally, 100% separate from the disciples' threads around the forum...this is not the place for input/feedback or suggestions. The disciples are far better-suited to that purpose than I am.

However...I will have a unique opportunity as an enthusiast (and ZL1 buyer for that matter) in the coming days...and I need your help to maximize the effect of this opportunity.

Three questions for you...And I will do my best to answer as many of them as possible after the weekend...
1) If you could ask Al Oppenheiser (Camaro Engineer) or Tom
Peters (Camaro Designer) anything about the ZL1...what would it be?

2) What do you want to know about the ZL1? Unmentioned
things you're curious about...maybe clarifications on things we're a
bit confused on....

3) What do you want to SEE on/about/in the ZL1? At Fest I someone asked me to take a picture of the HUD as nobody had seen it, yet....those kinds of things...
Toss them in here for me, please!

1) was the ability to create actual downforce on the car a real challenge given the certain guidelines the car must meet?

2) how exactly does the PCM charge the fluid in the suspension so that it expands? Better yet, I'd like to know more in detail how exactly the mr system truly works.

Will the warranty actually cover any "malfunction" that occurs if it's tracked?

I have two question:

Is the ZL1 capable of having a ground effects kit? Will there be a factory ground effects kit for the ZL1 available?

side note: I love the new exhaust but I prefer the look of the SS with the ground effects kit, makes the car look cleaner. I also prefer to have the body/lower part of my ZL1 the same color.

Question for Al: Will his group be working with GM Performance Parts to offer 2012 ZL1 post-sale performance "packages" for increase HP/TQ (such as increased boost via pulleys or upgraded blower and PCM changes)? If so, will the car warranty be maintained or will these over-the-counter packages be certified with performance numbers and test results?

Question for Al and Tom: Is there a known power (HP/TQ) threshold for the existing chassis and drivetrain parts? This question is for those who want to enhance the base ZL1 with aftermarket stuff if GMPP isn't offering ZL1 design team sanctioned stuff.

This is something I'm deeply hoping GM considers, there are quite a few of us who are seriously interested.

1) Was the Zl1 designed to be everything that it could be or were limitations in place that held the car back from being eveything that the engineers and designers wanted it to be in order to not run into the hallowed Corvette territory?

2) Does Chevy have any plans to release GM Performance upgrades for the car in the future to potentially unlock some extra performance that the Zl1 is capable of?

3) Forged internals.

1) I really don't care if it's Recaro or modified factory seat, but could you please consider designing seat base "length extenders" to afford those with longer legs more thigh support? There's nothing worse than the front edge of the seat cutting into you mid-thigh vs reaching out to your knee. Short seats can be most uncomfortable.

2) Can you please offer a full size spare tire that would work on any corner of the 2012 ZL1 for those who want one?

3) Battery tender easy connect location would be nice since these cars might be sitting out cold seasons.

Guys -- please remember -- this isn't a suggestion for improvements thread. For that, please head here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=204224.

Questions...requests for specific pictures, perhaps?
