Help: What color stripes for Cyber Grey Metallic?
OK, I need help. My CGM 2LT should be built in the next few weeks, and I plan to paint stripes on it when it arrives. I plan for rally style, starting on the nose. The question is...what color?
Black....pewter.....or something else. What do you suggest? Of course, pics would be appreciated.

Like the cyber on orange, but not sure about orange on cyber grey. Does the lady of the house drive the V8?
The silver are probably my top choice, was thinking of a little darker shade than SIM but those do look sweet in your photo!

If you have Midnight silver metallic wheels, PAINT THE STRIPES THE SAME....midnight silver metallic. That would be SO easy to do.
On the other hand, if you are planning on changing out the wheels, go for SIM like me!!! SIM rocks in the sun!!! (not very photogenic in the sun always looking white and all.....but.....in person? OH HELL YEAH). |

That CGM/SIM stripes looked great! I remember seeing a member post a CGM with black bumble bee style stripes with IO pinstripe around the stripes. I think red pinstripes would look awesome around black stripes. I tried to post the pic for you but it said the file was too big for some odd reason. Maybe not doing this exactly but just some options...

Thanks. I like the stripe design in the referenced thread, which are alot like the ones ud_lose has on his RJT. I can picture the black with orange pinstripe, those are definitely worth considering.
My biggest concern with SIM stripes on CGM has been the way they look white in most photos, so I appreciate the reassurance that isn't how they look in person. All good ideas.....now it is nearly time to decide. It's like the menu at a TGI Fridays...too many good options!

Take it over to Len Lyall and hold up the paint codes to it. That how I did it. You may find a color you haven't even thought of.
