Really Pissed ordered 1st day SIM 2SS RS WAITED SEVEN LONG MONTHS I GET THE CALL TODAY YOURE CAR IS HERE AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!! BUT..... LONG PAUSE GM LEFT OFF THE RS PACKAGE!!!!!! WHAT TO DO NOT WHAT I WANTED TO HERE NO EXCLAMATION REALLY SAD!!!!

Who did you order from? Did they at least get the 2SS part right?

No RS package no SS for me

GM wouldn't "forget" to put it on. Your dealer didnt put it on the worksheet when they sent it to GM. tell them to re-order the car they way you wanted it and have it here in a matter of weeks.

Did you see the build sheet prior....

Dont think this may have been the fault of the plant. They made what they saw in the system. If you made any changes to your order, it may have dropped off of the workbook. Several members reported this same problem. It was a glich in the system that your dealership should have checked before your order was pulled.

The paper work shows RS just not there.The rest was right.

Not sure if some of you guys remember... but when people started changing orders after it was first placed the system started dropping the RS packages. . . Example.. I dropped the hurst shifter on my car.... had the dealership print out my workbench order... missing RS package. . .I was lucky enough that i seen the mistake and had it put back on.

Probably looks just as good or better.

Everyone is gonna have RS you will be more unique.

This happened to me. When I removed the auto trans the RS package was dropped also. I found out just in time to have it added back in right before my order was pulled.

yeah thats probably the case. Get what you want but if you reorder your going to wait a while. Its not that big of a difference on the ss. You could probably do the tail lights your self and headlights, but the lights are whats going to cost you. Big thing is will you be pying for the RS and not getting it.

I'd say it's on the dealer then, not GM, for not having confirmed/reconfirmed the options... potentially the buyer too, if they didn't confirm/reconfirm options after a change. I changed color to IBM from CGM, once IBM was approved for the SS's... you can bet my dealer *and* I both confirmed/reconfirmed the options.

Well I waited seven months whats seven more right. I might be partially to blame because I did change colors,but the salesman read my order back to me over the phone I live 225 miles away.
