You really should consider the stock catback if it's a M6
I have that with kooks and it's quiet cruising and Has a nice sound at wot... You'd lose alot of hp by losing the LTs, but only a few w stock catback

Kook,

You are wasting money buying another catback exhaust. The headers and removing the restrictive cats and resonators give performance gains. The stock mufflers flow well. There is no performance gain with aftermarket mufflers. I don't care which brand. Your supercharger only exagerrates the noise. There are many on here who are running the stock mufflers with high power setups to avoid drone. PM justice pete. His car is sc, ARH headers and stock exhaust.

The best and cheapest route for you is go back to stock mufflers and buy diverters from maryland speed.com.

This will give you the option of opening the dump switch when driving by yourself for loud exhaust. Closing the dump switch will give as close to stock as possible. The dump switch can be found for less than $300 with internal switch.

Stock catback is the best money saving option.

But the stock catack is a eye sore (those big ugly cans hanging down) and it weighs a ton.

Yeh, the rattle cans and the weight is enough for me to change it alone.

Since you have the L99, you can reinstall the big mid pipe resonantor only and keep the Corsa as an axleback. Cheap solution and it will definitely be quieter (not as quiet as the stock catback), and no ugly cans in the back. Wife happy quiet is not guaranteed.

Wohoo post#200.

Louder the better, earplugs will help

Easy fix = Get a new wife

Seriously, go with the stock exhaust. I have the Kooks long tubes without cats and stock exhaust. Very tame at cruising, when you stomp on it there is a nice mild roar. This setup keeps my wife happy!

Do you have the cat mid pipes too? That will also help if you have them. Magnafllow street and cats will really quiet it down.

No cats. But will probably be next if this doesn't totally solve the problem.

Well the Magnaflow 2.5" street cat back solved my noise issues. Thanks to all that commented and helped me out. This system sounds awesome behind my LTs. Lots quieter and a deeper tone.
