OP, its going to be VERY difficult to beat that evo (I used to have a 550hp evo). The best chance you have is to spray heavily or build your motor and slap a bigger blower on it (or raise the boost with race gas). If he is making 780, then you'll have to make around 850-900 to beat him. His car is less than 3300lbs with a 1/2 tank of gas (assuming he has no additional weight).

edit: I just watched noticed his trap speed and I promise he is not making 780 with a 136mph trap.

If you do end up doing some higher speed airport runs, you should pull him up top, Evo's don't have a ton of top end, it's a fast car but is still a 4 door econobox when it comes to aerodynamics.

Unless you slap a massive 37r+ on it. Which based on the hp #s, one could assume he is running a turbo similar or larger.

It had a smaller turbo.
He bought that AMS car and slapped bigger turbos.
The car DID hit 780awhp.

That's old video....it's an iron block 4th gen TA running a lot of nitrous. Very light and very fast...sleeper for sure.

My new setup would bust him open.

Why cause I stated that the car is the worst sounding car I have ever heard in my life and that the dude can't drive I dont have a problem with Evo's but listening to that thing makes my ears bleed.
