HELP. Need POWER. Got beat BAD.

Need help figuring out how to beat this evo:

It's a 780awhp Evo X. Here is one of its runs:

He drug me so hard I felt ashamed. Car had a little belt slipping and was on street tires. Not 1/4 mile, but mile race on air strip from rolling start. Literally as soon as he hit 3rd he pulled me a galaxy. And I couldn't catch up.
I was only hitting 6psi and was spinning until 3rd but not even at 9psi would I be able to beat him. Car is nasty.

How can I safely get to a level to beat him? SAFELY is the key. I do have a nitrous kit sitting in the shop but I don't think the car will take a 150 shot. Already asked Ted the same question but want opinions from everyone to try to achieve this.

It's a matter of pride more than anything. Need to figure out how to beat this Evo. Grudge racing at it's finest. I have about a month and a half to two months to prepare the car.

Already have full BMR suspension on the way, 8rib conversion and slicks/skinnies, but my power level simply isn't there.

You would have to drop some weight. At least you car looks better. Watching and hearing that video of that car Gives me a head ache. Throw some c16 in your car 150 shot, some plugs, drop whatever weight you can and let her eat. Smart thing to do would be build a motor, rear, trans, then try again.

So on slicks/skinnies with a stroker and stage 2 maggie upgrade (16psi) think I would stand a chance?

It really has turn into a country wide grudge match lol..4cyl vs v8.

with his weight advantage you're gonna need a minimum of 900 to the ground.....looks like a new build is in you future!

I already got 1000HP axles going in. Toe rods, trailing arms, bushing kit back, bushing kit front, sway bar, subframe connector, driveshaft tunnel brace, end links for sway, end link mounting brace, driveshaft safety loop.... Just about everything suspension wise short of coil overs....

Yes. Stock tranny.

He is running low 10's you can do that will 700 to the tire maybe less if everything works right with an auto. The problem with the evo is he cant drive which helps you.

You could take your SRT-10 and "accidently" run over the EVO....would save you some cash
