Painted IBM bowties

Big thanks to the guys at RPI.






License plate frame is also painted from RPIDesigns... I just gotta do something about those ugly screws.

i have the silver painted ones, was it hard to swap out the rear? did it take a long time to remove all the factory glue?

Fishing line, alcohol (the rubbing kind, not the drinking kind), GooGone - or similar cleaner, and some elbow grease.

It was actually easier and took less time to remove, clean/prep and install the new rear emblem than it was the front. I didn't feel like taking the bumper off and couldn't get my fingers on all the tabs. I ended up 'breaking' the original bowtie to get it off, then the new one popped right in.
