I am up for whatever everyone waants to do...but driving to SA to catch up with them Wednesday night adds to more drive time and another night in a hotel. Just a voice of reason. I am working on getting an itinerary and hotels along the way, too. I can work with Pam or whoever wants to help with this. I was hoping that Lone Star Camaro as a group would run lead for this Camarovan thread and help with the logistics. So, if we can organize a committee to work some of this out, that would be great. I can also get in touch with leads from SA and Houston and also connect up with anyone coming from further east on 10 and 20. anyone that wants to help or has input, post or PM me. Thanks

Was there for a funeral, only stayed a couple days before coming back to San Diego. My wifes family lives on the other side of the mountain so we took that pass quite often. probably wont be going back there for a while.

I'll be at C5FII, cruising in with the massive Cali group.

I am happy to pass the planning torch onto someone else this year. That someone looks like you, Jeff!
I led the charge last year and would love to just go along for the ride this me! (Not 100% certain we'll even be going at this point!)

OK, on that note...I have talked to a lady at the El Paso Convention and Visitors Bureau re: lodging for approx. 200 rooms and Camaros and food the night(s) we are there. I have a short list of hotels that can accomodate us. We need numbers though for her to be able to present this to those hotels and see who wants to cut us the best deal.

I need a list of persons going, so I can project some sort of number. So, I will keep up with the list on this thread unless someone else wants to be the list-keeper.

I will copy/paste this into the SA and Houston threads too since we all basically end up on the same road before El Paso. I am also waiting on a response from a MOD to make sure I am not steppin gon any toes.

Thanks

I expect that the El Paso/Las Cruces group will be travelling with 7-10 Camaros. This number is still not firm, as some are triing to get the time off of work/school.

Keep us posted, and we look forward to having you in El Paso.

Hey all,

No to butt into your thread, but a friend of mine in Las Cruces is working on a hotel and we are trying to plan a dinner at an awesome restaurant there as well... The hotel is a Hilton and the manager owns a 2010 Camaro.. I am trying to get the Houston, San Antonio and Central Texas folks there. I would love to have you guys there as well...

Pat is and has done some amazing work for the restaurant and has a big with them. We are looking for a roped off parking area and an area of the restaurant. Heck, if we get enough people there, we may be able to get the entire restaurant...

let me know what you guys think, and Ill try to get a running headcount...

Thanks,

Robert
