YENKO

I live down the street from Yenko Honda(use to be Chevy) and noticed they just changed their names. Perfect timing for the new Camaro and opening the name back-up!!!

Now I am just hoping that someone has what it takes to grab then name and make another legend.

Anyone know who grabbed the name???

Lingenfelter didn't close up when John L. passed away.

That may be, but Yenko operations have been long gone, if it were resurrected with the family's permission it would be a totally new operation with new people. While the Yenko name meant a lot as far as Camaro heritage, there are others that are still viable operations today and have already announced they will do a 5th gen. version, Baldwin-Motion Performance for one and there are others with a past history. So I don't forsee a Yenko, but there will be some very nice other choices down the road.

Six or seven years ago I believe. I mentioned Baldwin/Motion earlier (now simply called Motion Performance), I also noticed today that Nickey Chicago (formerly Nickey Chevrolet) has also said they will be doing a fifth gen.

Foose could probably do a very nice job, I just feel like his prices will be way too skyhigh.

lol, Foose will shave the door handles, throw on chrome or polished 22"-24" rims, a 2 tone paint job and call it a day.
It'll be cool to see what these companies will do with the Camaro but when they are done it will undoubtedly be priced up in the stratosphere.

Well for the stang gt he did new wheel design as well as a body kit from scratch "a la eleanor" and a nice subtle paint job and it looks very nice and slapped a blower on it. I can't remember if he did any suspension work on it.

I would love to see Foose camaro. May he rest in peace but Foose was way better then Boyd Coddington. Boyd had a different style.
