The B pillar will lower chassis flex in the corners, and I understand the costs involved, so I believe GM made the right decision. v

Do you mean that a) there will be no 21"/22" options for sure or b) there will be no 21"/22" options for the standard versions, but we may get them if requested before-hand? |

21 and 22" wheels are huge i'll be surprised if we see them at all... i the largest wheels you can get on the vette are 18's so expect these to be the largest wheels available...

^ I think they might be saying that the front and rear wheels will be the same size for production.

I recall Scott saying there was no way the wheels for the production vehicle would be the same size as the concepts. I remember him saying he was trying to get another set of the "concept style wheels" built for BB to replace his fake rotors, etc. and the price for the wheels was astronomical. I believe he said there was really no way GM could build the wheels at a reasonable cost and keep them at a reasonable weight too. They were kinda heavy.

What about the headlights? Will the concept single-headlight designed be incorporated into the production version?

The disciples confirmed that the multiple projector beam lights on the test mules are not on the real car.

I had an '84 Z28 HO, auto, had 180 horse I think - but, yeah, nothing like the sound of a V8, the HO sounded nice - I know my '92 IROC had 245 hp but no top end power. Sorry for the nostalgia, sad to hear that the Firebird will not return, I have a 1977 I will be putting on the road (after some "minor" subframe rail extension work) but I guess the gas crisis killed that idea. That idiot who wrote about how the Camaro is dead must never have heard of ROI, and, oh, who would actually want to return the sheer exhiliration of driving again in the guise of a new classic Camaro? Anyway, first one who can show us all a picture of the production Camaro with the actual single-headlights gets kudos from me.
