Video: Rotofab ZL1 Intake IAT Testing on a Road Course
I did some testing of the Roto-Fab vs. stock airbox with a Green Filter. Stephen Fitzgerald Selden has been a proponent of the stock airbox for road course duty for a while. I swapped the Roto-Fab that was on the car and put the stocker back on. The PDR captures Ambient Air Temp and IAT, but doesn't get MAT. You can get all this data in Pi Toolbox with a little work.

Don't take those numbers seriously. Take it to the drag strip and change them, you'll have a different outcome where the Rotofab will shine especially on the big end in MPH

The guy performs a legitimate experiment with backed up data and you say don’t take those number seriously? The only thing I don’t take seriously is hood open dyno sessions with these so called aftermarket cold air intakes!

Nice. So someone like myself that just enjoys the car on the mountain roads, stay with the stock box.

The rain guard is a little baffle plate with three plastic clips holding it in place. One is directly behind the driver's head light and the other two clip to the radiator support.

That’s a very interesting test. The data makes sense. I would guess the lower restriction of the Roto-Fab would be more beneficial for drag racing due the shorter run time. I do much more road course events than drag racing and may stick with the stock air box.
