It looks nice, to bad the aftermarket for it will most likely suck since double public key encryption is pretty much impossible to break into,

I wouldn't say they locked it, because that can be defeated. They just made it virtually impossible.

It's a rendering based on leaked illustrations. It should be pretty accurate.

If they were to make the computers sealed, it would destroy many companies futures. There are a lot of tuner companies and parts makers that depends on the tuner to make the party work.

Please help my family. https://sites.google.com/site/kuhnfamilyfirerelief/

I may take some flak for this, but I do have a tendency to speak my mind.

Anything like a fire or natural disaster destroying your property is most definitely heart breaking. It destroys hope and a lot of the work people put into their home and livelihoods which is devestating.

Reading the site linked above, the insurance policy covers $40,000. The poster is requesting donations totaling an additional $40,000 (for a total of $80,000). Now is not a time to worry about buying a new home and furnishing it. There are many homes available in low income areas for half of what the insurance policy will pay out, and nothing was mentioned about vehicles being destroyed. That said, I have a co-worker who's home was burned to the ground and her daughter died in that fire. She received a check for $30,000 from the insurance and still provides for herself and her remaining 3 children WHILE on disability.

In other words, this needs to be put in perspective. I personally feel it is wrong to go on the internet and essentially beg for $40,000 just so you can rebuild a home to the satisfication of the family when millions of other Americans live on a fraction of what the insurance is paying out.

Now, don't get me wrong - if people want to donate and help someone in need, go for it - I see nothing wrong with people wanting to give to help another. What I see wrong in this picture is that it seems the family isn't willing to sacrifice (IE move into a low income housing area, an apartment, etc.) and are resorting to pleading on the internet for money from strangers.

Again, this is a tragedy, I cannot understand the level of hopelessness and everything else going on, but it is sort of offensive to ask for $40,000 when there are people in this country who have no home, who worry about where their next meal is coming from.

I guarantee what I just said will piss people off or think that I'm some uncaring individual who is nothing but negative, but that's most definitely not the case.

You can buy a home in multiple locations where I live for $25,000 at sheriff sales. $30,000 can get you a decent home albeit in a low income area. That's $10k to replace the necessities of life. Insurance covers that. An additional $40,000? SMH.

No flak

We are dealing with my father in law who is a good man, and worked hard but got nowhere his entire life. He lives on his father's property and he has his 30 year old dead beat son living with him and his wife. This is a family that has little, and works very hard for that little. Yet, they have helped many. Those that have experience with Joe would never argue, Joe has helped many, many people. He has taken from his family to help another's. He has given while he was hurting and could not afford to give.

I would never expect to ask for $40,000 in donations. I'm just asking for those that can, to offer what they wish. If you do not wish to help this man, God Bless you. I still live you, and you have not hurt me. I know that with the network of family and friends, we will all pitch in and make this man whole again. He deserves nothing less in my opinion. But, we all make our own choices to reach a hand out to help our neighbor, or to not. It doesn't make you or me evil or saintly, so don't feel like you need to tell me why you make the choice one way or the other.

Please help my family. https://sites.google.com/site/kuhnfamilyfirerelief/

There is no speculation. It's been done. Here is how it works.

When you request authorization to open the PCM the car connects to a server cluster at GM to receive an authorization code. A hand shake. So the PCM is encrypted which is no biggy but the final hand shake from GM is as well. That's where it gets difficult and impossible.

I am betting any PCM related upgrades will be through GM and GM only.

Those parts are not authorized by GM. They do not care about their outcome.

The new LT1 engine has vvt, the fuel pump/fuel delivery is based off of the cam timing and phasing. I do not feel amateur tuners will have the ability or access to calibrate the engine management system properly with this new setup. I'd rather leave it to the pros. Tons of idiot tuners who have no business tuning yet make a living off of it.

My Pittsburgh friends, have a question

Was wondering if I could go to a 20 x 10.5 front rim and a 20 x 11.5 rear? And still use my stock sized tires...?? Any help would be appreciated!!!! TY!
And if they would fit without rubbing?

too wide in the front will tram line like nuts if you put the right sized front tire on a 10.5. You may also stretch the stock size tire and it will look dumb on a 10.5
