How does the axle back make it louder without changing mufflers?

Because you go from having 3 mufflers down to one center section muffler. the street 2.5" has 3 mufflers (Resonator) + two rear mufflers in back. The comp axle back is just straight pipes eliminating the use of two mufflers from the street series.
