Removed my hood wrap....after 6 years (yeah, I know). Made sure to use a heat gun, but still left staining from the glue. Now I have to figure out how the heck to get the glue stains/remnants off the finish. You can barely feel the glue, but you can see it in certain light.

When I bring the car to get the ZL1 front bumper paint quote, I am also going to inquire about an entire front clip respray. And yes, I am aware that I have excessive gap between hood and front bumper cover. That will be addressed with the new bumper.

Glue possibly with this substance carefully.
Maybe you have to polish lightly

Nice and shiney under the wrap.. Any of the stick glue residue I had to remove when I took my lettering and other trim pieces I had on there off, I used GOO GONE to take it off. Worked pretty well because it is citrus based like what chevypilot posted.. Then wiped it down with alcohol to remove any oils and residue from it, then polished it all to perfection... Good luck..

Well it finally happened. I only got 15 years out of the original battery… they just don’t make em like they used too I got a slow crank and the infamous service stabilitrack message on start up.

The original battery lasted so long that I swapped a new AC delco from the original dealer that sold the car brand new.

Picture of the original battery with only 5,000 miles on it. Ive known we were getting to end of its life for a year or more now. I was getting the window cycle messages on the dic first intermittently, then increasingly regularly, when using the remote start, and half the time or more the remote start wouldn’t work at all. Not a single problem since I swapped it.

Yeah that battery owed you nothing! That's a hell of a battery life.

that is great battery life. I had to replace the battery in my wife's 2021 CT5 a couple of weeks ago.. I must be getting old (50) cuz i am constantly saying "man, they dont make them like that anymore" and "man, i remember when those only cost half that"...lol

I was out cruising on the expressway today and I got the infamous service stabilitrack message for the first time. Car went straight to tour mode and froze. i did notice right before that happened my aero force gauge went haywire, then poof the light went on. I had a issue with the gauge last week where it just kept resetting and not starting up. So, i unplugged the gauge and got to my destination. when i restarted my car everything was fine including the gauge. Hopefully it fixed itself.
