Front bow tie delete

Greetings all. If I remove the front bow tie is there a gap/space which will look odd? Or is it just attached to front grill and now all that will remain is a normal looking grill? The only "badge" I want on my white 1LE is a rear bow tie in satin black from Lupe at River City. Otherwise nothing... nice clean look. Thnx, Peter

There is still a bow tie outline if you remove the front bow tie, I removed mine for a little while but put a black glow tie in. If someone makes a grill replacement piece without a hollowed out bow tie when the bow tie is removed, PLEASE let me know.

Send a message via AIM to SSTony
when my SS badge comes in I might try the dremel tool and clean up the bowtie outline in grill

I don't understand why anyone would want to remove the front bowtie, its integral to the look of the car. I can understand SS and RS badge removal for a 'cleaner' look but drilling out your bowtie and leaving a big gaping hole is just stupid in my opinion. If you want a blacked out grill, I would suggest wrapping the chrome border around the black bowtie black and blacking out the SS emblem. Would look just as 'clean' without ruining your car.

NAAA the bowties are ugly, they need to go back to the old school red, white and blue emblems

There’s a lot of gingerbread on this car. I like a clean look with no badges. However the bowtie has to stay. But not in gold. Painted to match the car, courtesy of river city creations......The rest of the front chrome crap and RS badge Is the first thing I took off.

Glue this(or one tall enough) in the center of that grill? Seems like a cool look!

Whoops! I didn't know that one! Kinda dumb they don't have both. Seems like there's enough market to have it for both. It wouldn't be high priority to me, but if I got bored enough of probably do it.

I think the black bow tie fits the car perfectly. The gold one kinda make the car look cheap...

The black glow tie is the one to go IMO.

I agree, they should do both. But I think the design should match better to the lower grill.
