Talking GPI Ported and Polished Heads

Finally got a set of GPI (Gwatney Performance Innovation) Ported and Polished LT1 Cylinder Heads. Beautiful pieces of workmanship, I must say. We kept the chambers stock and we milled a good amount to bump compression. The E85 should love the little bump in compression.

I am adding these along with finally installing my Circle D 4C converter and hope for 10.6/10.5 ET within the next couple months! All while still utilizing the STOCK camshaft!

Went 10.90 @ 126MPH last week in about 1000DA and 80% Humidity. My PB of 10.87 @126mph was in Negative DA and 30% Humidity.

If you want good quality track proven products and great customer service, hit up Ryan (Rhino79) or Aaron at GPI (https://gwatneyperformance.com)!!

I do all my own work. Labor is free. The stock cam is strong. I already have a cammed 5th Gen. I like the sleeper aspect of this car. Plus Im already quicker than a majority of the cammed 6th gens! LOL! I will wait awhile for a tad more R&D before I decide to cam the 6th Gen. Current 6th Gen cams are not impressing me at all ET wise.

Not really. You can do a head swap in a day if you know what you are doing. I would almost consider doing heads a "bolt on". Doing a converter takes longer and is more involved than doing the heads on this car. A cam swap is no joke and takes two to three times longer. It's not like the old days.
