well my car is 22884 and its manual...when i called customer service on july 1st they called my dealer and said they got the invoice and the eta was july 10th but to expect it sooner...does this mean mine is deffinately not in QC? i would think if it was put in QC they would have known and it wouldnt show that its in transit, no? but it 2 days overdue so im wondering.....

I was just wondering if they are gonna build our 6spd manuals this week since we have been hearing about the problems with the Tremec 6spd? Let me know what you think?

When did they stop maufacturing on the manual 6's? My car was suppose to go into production on June 29th and I haven't heard anything.

, but remember nothing official has been said about them not building SS M6's. And one dealer's Email is far from official. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Do the V6 and SS use the same 6 spd Manual? I wasn't aware of an issue or constraint anymore with the tranny...

I would hope that a week of no cars being produced was enough time for GM to once again get their act together and fix whatever needed fixing. I doubt there is any real way of knowing aside from people with M6 orders receiving VINs this week. Then again, who knows if this was ever really an issue.

I am pretty sure they are different trannys but I could be wrong.

yes, they are different trannies. The SS gets the tremec used in the corvette. I would like to know where the info came from that the 6M is having issues. The 6M with the V6 was on constraint for a while, but has been released. I only hope that the SS cars DO NOT have any issues. I am getting impatient for my car.

Thanks for the confirmation on that. I also hope there is no issue for yours. This is also the first I heard of any issue I wonder if it's true; maybe a higher authority could let us all know...

Yeah we still dont know if it was really an issue I guess we will find out today and the rest of the week!!

I really hope alot of ours get built today togther lol!!
