Mine costed me $166 after tax and that was welded. Clamping would have costed me only $100 and would have taken even less time.

The mod took about an hour.

I did yesterday and I got quoted $150 or less(depending on how big of a stainless steel piece they need to order) I have a gift certificate for their shop but I'm deciding whether to use it for the res delete or towards my interior lighting mods? Lol

I got my resonators deleted for $75, welded on. Took them 30-40 minutes.

It allows WOT to be louder, but I didn't notice any increase in drone.

As I've said before, for me drone is noticeably reduced. The key areas I noticed this was from cabin vibrations. Before the resonator delete, I got this terrible cabin vibration. It sounded like one of the C pillers was vibrating or the rear seat or something.

After the resonator delete, I no longer have the annoying vibrations I used to have. Letting off the gas peddle now when in 2nd or 3rd gear now sounds alot smoother as well.

Again, the only negative I have to say is that little bit of rasp you can hear when the engine is cold. Its annoying and loud and you hear it in the 2500-4000rpm range. After about 5min of driving, its perfect and goes away.

EDIT: And nothing beats the nice volume increase you get when you gun it and it sounds good! . The diff in volume is about like going from MRT 2 to MRT 1 if you were to compare the two exhausts side by side.

I would love to hear how the delete sounds on the Magnaflow. Every exhaust does differant things when you cut out these things.

Yeah that noise, I dont have it anymore. I got used to the noise over summer and not having it now makes a world of differance for in cabin noise. I still get that loud hum (drone) but its not as powerful as before.

I can also now confirm that highway driving is quieter from doing the resonator delete. Since drone has been reduced, the hum isnt quite as loud when I'm at 110kmph (2000rpm).
