The ***GETTING MY CAMARO*** project.

Tonight, I made a commitment to getting a Camaro 5.
This is not a for sure thing. I'm self-employed and the $$$ isn't here yet.
But, I set a goal to take delivery of the Camaro on or before by 8/25/13.

I'm creating this thread to post a daily progress toward my Camaro
and will rate days on a 1 to 5 scale.

1= Zero effort. (Total idiot never gets a Camaro.)
2= Bad effort. (Total idiot gets a Camaro...a 1/18th scale model.)
3= Lame effort. (Half-ass is not good enough. No Camaro.)
4= Good effort. (Not my best. Camaros are not cheap.)
5= Outstanding effort. (Keep it up. The Camaro is closer.)

Your own Camaro stories, comments and feedback are welcome....

Believe in yourself, do #5 everyday and you will have a 5th gen. Always stay positive, don't dwell on the negative. Good luck.

Thanks man! A low mile 2010 SS 6M Transformers Edition would be perfect. But I also drove a used black RS 6M with low profile tires and stripes/wing and loved it. So keeping my options open.

I started a similar project myself about 6 months ago.
Knew I needed to pay off my current car to make the down payment I wanted to have.
I'm pretty free with my money so it wasn't easy but found a savings account with a minimum dollar amount and restriction on withdrawals really helped.
Luckily for me I'm a bit of a pack-rat and geek with tons of stuff I've sat on for years that could make me some extra cash on ebay.
It might be ironic but I collect transformers and found myself eyeing different figures to decide what I could live without to help me get a camaro.
All of that with a couple good weeks at work(commission based) and 6 months later I'm ready to order, just waiting for the refresh reveal though it may not matter....don't think I can or want to wait for the next my to hit.

Take money you know you'd blow on silly things and put it away early or when it arrives or match your purchases. Spend $10 on food you probably didn't need to and match it with $10 towards your car fund
Keep at it and find ways to keep your mind set on the end goal, know how much you should save, how much you're able to meet a would be time goal.

Good Luck!
