IOM Question

How often do you guys with IOM get asked if your car was red? im asking cuz orange is my favorite color on this car and i think it would bother me if people thought it was red... i know in photos and videos it looks red sometimes. i have only seen it in person once (during a sunny day) and it wasnt as bright orange as i thought it was gunna be:(. i can c why people confuse it with red sometimes. how is the color at night time? does it look orange at all or just red?

not very often at all.....when people are around the car, its usually on sunny days at a street meet or the races.....and it the sun, its DEFINATLY Orange, not RED.....no its not HUGGER ORANGE....which people that don't know a lot about the car, thats what they imagine when they think of ORANGE....but if they have never seen one in person, and its cloudy out, or dusk, then it tends to look red.

No one has ever mistaken mine for red. Thank Goodness! As a former Texas Longhorn, that would be a disaster.

Only once in a year and older guy I know though it was red.

actually the question i get alot is what is the name of that color,people know its not red,people can see its defintely has some cool qualities to it.

Yep, out in the sun there's no mistaking that it's orange. I get "Yours is the white and red one?" ALL the time. The stripes in pictures iook red, and in some angles in the sun it looks red too.

Usually when people see my car at night they think it is red, but when i tell them its actually orange their jaw hits the ground. I tell em its got the color characteristics of fire. I love my IOM, the only other color i considered was IBM because blue is my favorite color. My next camaro will be IBM if its available.

It's red in pictures from anything but a really good camera, and it is red at dusk and night. I've never had it called red from "car people." I have had people who are not really into cars call it red, but I just tell them it's orange, and they go take a second look and then decide it is a cool chameleon of a color.

The colour is definitly orange in the sun, and youll see red as well. The colour is just absolutely amazing. I lvoe it soo much. And as for night, it will look red until a cars headlights hit it and then BAM, beautiful orange.
Only dislike of this colour is that it looks like rustish brownish/ burnt orange under street lights and those engergy saving bulbs lol forgot the name.
Colour is great, had a red Camaro close to mine in the parking lot and man can you tell the difference.
Just go to one of the local meet ups and see what colour you like best
