I'm still not sure he was serious. If you know enough about cars to know how a turbo works, then you should know enough to know that oxygen is required. But then again "should" is the key word here.

That's the key here...

There is only two reasons that was posted:

1: he's a genius, and bumped his site's popularity for a while

OR

2: He really is an idiot, and I hope he tries that to see how it'll work....Boom!

Either way, it woke me up last night at 11pm...I was drowsy, and sat bolt upright, "WTF?!?!" Thanks for linking us the The Car-world's biggest idiot (or genius)

Honestly that is the best idea i have herd of since....since...since....well shoving lit firecrackers up your nose.....what a moron

So does anyone else really want to find some junkyard block, build the setup this guy thought of, find some way to oxidize the charge, throw on a flak jacket, and fire her up to see what happens? Because I sure do. But then again I'm the guy who threw a handful of bottle rockets into a bonfire to recreate the sky over Baghdad.

Hmmm. I need a design thesis for next semester. Perhaps I could try and figure out a way to make that thing work. Then again, the top engineer at the school is an automotive engineer and might veto it before I get a chance
