Arrow Job Found!

Hey everybody,

I thought that it was finally time to reach out to you guys on this matter. I wanted to put this out there because I'm currently seeking a new job. Just looking for something different is all.

I currently work as an IT Support Tech, supporting users in a Windows environment. Some of my duties include; new user set-up, upgrade and replace computer hardware, virus and spyware removal, and administration of Nextel, Blackberry, iPhone, and Android phones.

If by any chance you guys know of something that is out there and you can find it in your hearts to pass it on to me (<-- cheesy, right?), please let me know. I've been job searching for the past few weeks and nothing's happened. I guess it's true: "It's not what you know, but who you know."

I can provide my resume if need be.

Thanks everybody!

The public service sector is always utilizing IT professionals in every single agency in the government.

I suggest you both go here build a profile and resume and begin dropping it with governemnt agencies. Can't beat the reliability of a government job. Doesn't always match your private sector value but the confidence in your paycheck is second to none. Even when the monkeys in DC can't agree on anything

Good luck and happy huniting.

Search Engines http://www.simplyhired.com/ http://www.careerbuilder.com/ http://www.corp-corp.com/ http://www.dice.com/ http://www.indeed.com/ http://www.monster.com/ http://technicaljobsearch.com/ Here are the ones that I use. I am a mainframe and database person at work, so I mainly used dice and monster, but I threw my resume at every site and I still get calls and emails for positions that I don't really qualify for. If I get some I can pass the emails along to you or forward your name and contact if you like. Let me know. I should have some more and if I find them I will shuffle them over to you. Good Luck

Have you done any interviews so far? with who?
How many years of experience do you have? what specific areas?
Do you speak any foreign languages?
Can you relocate? To where? Arizona?
Will you take a contract?

Have you done any interviews so far? with who? 1 interview with another coming up on Tuesday. 1st one was for a financial company, New American Funding and the one on Tuesday will be with Windsor Foods.
How many years of experience do you have? 3 years what specific areas? I've only worked with user-end support, I have no hands on experience with servers (thanks to my work)
Do you speak any foreign languages? Spanish
Can you relocate? I would prefer not to relocateTo where? Arizona?
Will you take a contract?Hmm...I guess it would depend on the length of the contract.
PM sent!

Stop telling people you make power points, you have more skills than that, Mr. 97 wpm

Yoshi- If you can get into Genentech, do it. Check law firms, there's a ton of them in SoCal and they all have internal IT support, look for legal recruiters, too. Good luck!
