GM is certainly looking for blood, but IMO there exists one serious flaw in this kind of logic. To wit, this almost inherently assumes that the GT500 is a reasonably stationary target. The problem is I think GM assumes this as well based upon what we have seen of their performance car development.
I can assure you of one thing, in this instance assumptions are going to prove problematic, and the GT500 is anything but a stationary target. Quote:

I would disagree. The development of the SS I think, proves they are always looking to the future, even if they can't see it clearly. And the Z28 is the pinnacle of their efforts on Camaro. I don't think they are going to go about it with the philosophy of "good enough".
