SOOOOO, is it gonna be this easy for them to steal the 5th gen now? Cause I'm a little worried about a 36k car being stolen so easily? Anyone have ideas of how to protect the car? I live in an apt so there is no way of putting it in a garage
I would imagine that was an older VATS system, I imagine that it has gotten better. Not invincible, but better.

So do you think that something as easy as hot wiring is still easy? Or do you think that its gonna be tough to steal this 5th gen?

Yeah with my current junker got the same key and system. Came with 2 key fobs and a valet key as well. Works great so far and when the insurance lady saw it it dropped my insurance some.
