Nice, the cool thing about the MSP cars was that they were easy to get at auction. I did a brief search on the net and found these, I forgot that MSP all had 5.0L Fox Bodies.

2. Is a farm road. And if you speed down it, you'll usually slam into a horse trailer, tractor trailer, or a tractor. I'm telling ya, SMALL TOWN. |

Law in Ca. says LEO vehicles used exclusively for traffic enforcement must be "distinctively marked"..i.e. black and white.
No plain wrapper traffic cars in Ca... |

That stealth police car would be hard to notice. That car in not for people who live in and around Cut N Shoot, it if for those unlucky travelers who have no idea it is there.
I was pulled over more than a year ago. To my knowledge I wasn't speeding. I was caught doing 72 in a 65 mile zone. When you go along that stretch of highway you there is not a sign that says 65. One is led to believe that the speed limit is 70. I went to traffic school on the ticket and they said that because of the economy the police are being more aggressive. So if the point is to prevent people from speeding then wouldn't a black and white more easily identified police car serve this effort? People would see the car and slow down. If the point is to just catch people speeding then isn't that a revenue raising venture first and a speeding prevention activity second? |

Good call, I wouldn't stop for an unmarked Camaro just for this reason. Too many impersonators out there playing cop. See story...
http://sports.espn.go.com/action/news/story?id=6269849 Or if I did decide to stop, it would be in a very public place and made sure my smart fone video was running. |
