I'm just curious as to why there's a CEL on every other install of these, and not yours. Lol lucky you!

all im using are the $4 non foulers from autozone doubled up on each side. so far so good with 3k-5k miles and no cel.

also i dont know if this makes a difference or not but it could be the reason i do not get a CEL...

It started when my local dealership installed my new front ss fascia with fog lights and they forgot to reteach the comp in the car that the fog lights were there.. so i took my car home installed the headers and drove around with a cel for a few weeks.. then i tried the non foulers and they worked off and on.. the next week i brought my car in again for them to fix the fog lights and not only did they fix the fog lights but they also fixed the tire light that had been on since i switched out my ls wheels for ss wheels with no sensors. maybe they fixed the CEL also.. i have no idea though

Eh...the only way I know of that would fix the CEL is through a tune, which I doubt they did. I'm baffled, but it's good on you. I just pulled the fuses, so I'll see what that does. Probably nothing though.

What do u mean reteach comp?

What all did you have to buy to add OEM fogs to your car. I am in the same situation as you where. I dont have fogs at all but would like to add OEM fogs.

It appears the spark plug anti-fouler trick worked for him.... the CEL is from the rear 02 sensors.. The rear O2 sensors simply monitor the health of the cats... when you do long tubes you make it so the rear O2 cats think there is a problem with the cats... Putting the anti-foulers on the rear O2 sensors basically makes the O2 sensors believe ever thing is fine...

Google O2 anti fouler and you find a lot of info on it. example:
