Okey My areo's came in yesterday. (two days after ordered) Alright. If we paid for our own resonators, which is the bulk of the price besides labor, how much would he charge us if we shipped them up there and had him finish the axleback kit?

would be nice if we could pay him in adavance, then have him ship it back to us. You said all he was waiting for was the resonators, and I have mine now.

Actually, i believe the 304 stainless piping, hangers and tips are probably going to be up there in cost too... I have no idea if they would be willing to do this... but you never know unless you ask!!!! I'll ask them what they think!

funny you should mention that... just heard back from Scott today on some pricing...

MRT is going to price this kit at $499. Based on me looking around that seems very competitive with other similar axle backs with resonators/mufflers. The MRT axle back will be 304-T stainless steel including the hangers. Each side gets TWO hangers, like the stock muffler. This provides extra stability and easier centering.

Scott doesn't really believe in "pre-orders"... however he is willing to start a "waiting list". He is also going to offer an introductory price of $439. For more information or to get on the waiting list you can call Dave at 734-455-5807.

ALSO... BlueClyde took his SS over to MRT and let them try out the system on his car! While I didn't get a chance to hear it in person my understanding is it sounded GOOD!!!

Yes, some pictures of the tips on your car would be very helpful.
I was would have liked 4" OD tips, (for looks not sound) They fill up the 5" holes much better.
Do you think he would make that a option if he got enough requests for them ?

I have mentioned the 4" tips to Scott in the past, but really haven't followed up with him to much on that... I know he mentioned it would require setting up a second fixture to build 4" tip systems... so while to us it seems like a no brainer, just stick a 3.5 or a 4 inch tip, there are some production things to consider... at least that's my understanding..

oh... i'll get some better pictures this weekend..
