Rally Yellow is a love it or hate it color. I happen to love it and would have not picked any other color in my 5th gen. I always wanted yellow in my vettes and never did it, so this time around I pulled the trigger. When I get my next car which will most likely be a c7 it will be Velocity Yellow.

I was in a toss between Black and IBM, would have hit BRM but not offered for 2012. Found one in black with everything I wanted, good price so that was deciding factor and I'd do it again

No remorse here. I'm 58 years old and drive an Inferno Orange Metallic 2LT with orange interior and white stripes on the hood and trunk. I made the decision last fall to buy a new Camaro and at the time was thinking of Victory Red then as the winter wore on I thought Red Jewel Metallic would be nice. But in the end, I remembered how much I loved the Hugger Orange with white stripe Camaro's back in "69" I decided on IOM. I speced out and ordered my new Camaro the last week of March and took ownership of it the 2nd week of May and have not regretted it.

Crisis, what crisis???
I'm 53, young at heart, and have had my Rally Yellow 2012 1LT convertible for a month and couldn't be happier. The yellow contrasting with the black top and interior is just fabulous. While a few people have asked, Crisis?, the answer is no, and even if it was, HOLY CRAP what a cure!! This car/color combo just screams with personality, and is a perfect fit whether you are 18 or 88, male or female. (I saw a woman of about 65-70 in a yellow coupe last week, we gave each other the thumbs up and she put a huge smile on my face). You only go around once. I want to come skidding sideways into the grave yelling "WOO HOO what a ride", with no regrets when it's my time to go!!!!!! Enjoy it with no appologies!!

It's a factory color, so WGAS? If you like it, it's all that counts.
We got yellow 2010...but the wife's stipulation was the gray interior. If'n I had to do it all over again, I'd have picked the all black interior. It just hides dirt better is all. I don't hate the gray, but well...not my call. When I got the ZL1, it was all my choice. I am very happy I got a CRT (although it wouldn't have killed me to get another yellow one). My next choice would have been IOM, but I'm glad I got the CRT now, because I'm afraid I'd have not liked IOM as much and probably regretted that one.

I'm 25 and I don't like black, I hate cleaning black, black shows everything!
That being said I fell in love with the car when I seen it and have no regrets about the color choice. Sent from the road.

22 here, I love my black (even if it is high maintenance),
I think the only color remorse I had was I was contemplating getting the only dusk edition they had on the lot at the time I got my '13. Had the chance to tell them I wanted it and didn't, wanted black more at the time and the cost didn't appeal to me for some cosmetic swaps. I really just wanted the mojave seats. Looking back I think I would have gotten the dusk edition, my next one I'm just going to go balls to the wall about it. |

Speaking of Bumblebee I had a guy drive past me on the interstate in a yellow Chevy cobalt with the Liscence plate "BumbleB". When I looked over at him as he was passing he was looking in my window sipping an iced Dunkin Donuts coffee. Just struck me as odd and kind of creepy. I have always owned black autos and I loved detailing them on a hot day. This deep gray I have on this camaro is fantastic(don't know what the factory color is called). Really makes people look. |
