Why were we moved to non-street legal? Our car is 100% street legal with full original interior with radio and air bags, a/c, ABS, factory Brembos up front and C5 corvette brakes in the rear, limited slip differential, the same DSS IRS 9" that a lot of our fellow members run, overdrive trans, full exhaust (quieter than most 12 second 5th gens), ect.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Just curious is it registered and you drive it on the streets?

The three cars should have stayed where they were at before.

Currently no, since it is winter and the boss doesn't drive it, it is put up for winter storage.

None of those things have anything to do with a car being street legal. You admitted it isnt registered or street driven, where's the discussion here

We thought about making a separate class since there is a definite separation between the RPM, FARKS/ARH and LPE cars and the two cars at the top of that list, but there just aren't that many cars in this category. The cars that are on list #7 do get driven on the street some pretty regular like SSMagna and Dangeruss.

Instead of a new list Merc added IRS to the 3 cars in question. I'll let Merc decide, if he hasn't already.

Half the cars on this site aren't driven more than a couple thousand miles per year, so what does it matter if ours isn't street driven daily? And there is no point having the car registered during the winter here in Indiana.... Our car is no different than half the cars on this list.

I know we are all competitive men and women, but is there really a need to have a big debate/argument/discussion over a fast list? There's no money involved just bragging rights. The RPM, FARKS/ARH, and LPE cars can and probably are registered so I see no need to put them in a different class. On the other hand if and I'm not saying they are but IF these cars are owned by one person and or a company, built and maintained by others, and driven at the track by a totally different person then the owner* Well that's a Race Team and needs to be in a different list/class.

Just my. 02
