Hi, I'm new to this thread... So yea is the "thump" sound normal then? I have a new 2012 v6 camaro 2LS and I have that noise too when I reverse...?

my radio screen has the same lines in it. it is worse when it is cold out. kind of annoying.

I have the same issue with my 2012 2lt/rs, it has 800 miles now, and I hear the sounds when going on reverse from the trunk (I feel it is coming from the trunk), and also sometimes when on Drive I hear sounds like that!! Is it normal or does need fixing?
