Can the general public attend SEMA? I would sure like to go see all these cars! Probably to expensive for a flight now though.

Officially, no. You will need to have someone in the automotive industry to take you as a guest under their company name. Each vendor/exhibitor/attendee is registered, as well as any employees that attend with them. SEMA asks for all of this information and your company credentials.

It's not cheap to go, either. Attendees are $75 after Oct. 19

That being said, if you can find a way to get in, It is worth every penny. You will have the time of your life (assuming you are a car guy, which I do since you are here

)

Not open to public...But if you are friends with somebody maybe they will take you under their company name.

That being said...I cannot wait, this will be the first time for me. Right now it is 75 a person

This will be my 6th year going and I have loved it every time. If you can find someone to get you in you will not regret anything that you spend to get there.

I DO!!!!!! I filled out the online survey for the SEMA Enthusiast program!!
So I was chosen for tickets to SEMA!!!! Part of the deal is Wed when i get there i have to pick 10 items in the new products section that i think are leading edge and innovative and Tweet about them!!
So they are also letting my fiance' go with me, we have to provide transportation and lodging, and we get free tickets to the show on Wed, Thurs, and Fri, Ill take lots of pics for you guys.
I have wanted to go SEMA for 10 years!!!

You might as well leave your camera in the hotel, SEMA rules are no pics or videos without Media Credentials. Strictly enforced.

I took a ton of pictures of the GM display as well as all the models. There were cameras everywhere.
